This 2014 album contains the original soundtracks to the 1975 film "The Mirror" and the 1979 film "Stalker" by Andrei Tarkovsky, a Russian filmmaker who produced including "Solaris," that are considered historical masterpieces. This one also features music by Eduard Artemiev, one of the most important Russian composers of the 20th century. Artemiev is also an electronic musician with many masterpieces to his credit, and this album also features a variety of music spun out in a music-concrete manner using EMS Synthi-100 and other synthesizers and (presumably) tape edits.
