Released in 1982, this is the album by Japanese percussionist Tsutomu Yamashita, who has been making a name for himself in the field of classical and contemporary music since the late 1960s, and is best known for his rock-oriented live performances and work with Steve Winwood, Klaus Schulze and Michael Shrieve. This is the third album in the New Age Electronics series, which began with 1982's Iroha. As with the previous album, this album features synthesizers, along with Takashi Kokubo and Sen Izumi, in an epic conceptual music that expresses the world of Buddhism. It's a deep meditative world, like a boiling underground magma or a vibrating earth.
