The original soundtrack album of the biographical documentary film "A Life in Waves" about Suzanne Ciani, an American sound designer who was active in the 1970s creating TV commercials and film music, and is globally known as a master of the Buchla synthesizer. This album includes 12 tracks selected from Ciani's archives, ranging from her early experimental works using modular synthesizers to recordings of concerts held in Paris and Niblock’s Loft, as well as piano compositions designed for commercials. The album showcases a wide range of styles, including robotic synth disco, romantic new-age tracks, and experimental ambient music, all characterized by consistently dreamy soundscapes that highlight Ciani's brilliant creativity.
