This album was released in 1980 by Balachander, a master of veena playing in South Indian classical music. The album features an improvisation called "Sugnamule" composed by Tyagaraja, a composer and singer of Karnataka music, a form of Indian classical music in the early 17th century, who had a great influence on the development of the Indian classical music tradition. A piece of music is played by one raga, based on the original performance method of Indian music.
