An album featuring steel drums from Trinidad and Tobago from the Arion series, which releases locally recorded folk music from around the world. This is a tropical piece with a pleasantly light sound of steel drums. In addition to traditional music from around the Caribbean, the album features jazz improvisations on steel drums, which is amazing. The unique scale of the steel drums creates a subtle sway in the melody, creating an original groove that is hard to describe. Rare Japanese release from Trio Records' 'The World of Arion Folk Music' series, with commentary.
