An album of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism's Shomyo released in 1979 from the Unesco Collection Musical Sources, a project of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The 17 monks of the Buzan school, founded by Senyo-Sojo, who was invited to Hase Temple in Nara by Hidenaga Toyotomi, toured the Middle East, Europe, and America from 1973 to 1974, and recorded at the Beethoven Hall in Bonn, Germany. A puja is performed in which all the monks read through the entire vast volume in praise of the achievements of the Great Perfectionist Sutra.
