Naomi Chiaki, one of Japan's leading female singers, who took the world by storm in the early 70's as a "dramatic singer" but went on hiatus in 1992, released her masterpiece album "Each Table" in 1981, a modern and elegant arrangement of French chansons. This is a not-for-sale item that was produced to promote the album and was never released as a regular edition. During her time with Victor Records, Naomi Chiaaki released cover albums of American standards, Portuguese fado, and postwar Japanese songs, all of which are very urban and very good. The artwork is also nice.
