Arild Andersen is one of the most famous Scandinavian bassists of all time, and this album was released in 1982. The quartet was recorded live at The Module Jazz Festival in Norway in 1981, performed with John Taylor(p), Bill Friesell(g), and Alphonse Mouzon(dr). A1 and A4, The drums are bouncy out a fine beat, the bass plays a very fast solo and the piano runs emotionally. Bill Friesell's signature guitars elevate it to spiritual jazz rock. B3 also have a great groovy and progressive style.
