Album released in 1985 by The Living Time Orchestra, led by American composer/pianist George Russell, who has been active since the 50s and whose style ranges from solo to jazz orchestra and includes an intense live album with Don Cherry. It is primitive, spiritual big band ethno jazz with an African theme, introducing ethnic melodies and rhythms as well as electronics. It is a work of great scale that shows Russell's extraordinary talent as a composer. This is the original US audiophile pressing.
