A collaboration work between an Russian singer/keyboardist and Estonian jazz-rock group. Released in 1989, this album features Russian singer Sergei Manukjan, who won the International Competition for Jazz Vocalists in Poland in 1987 and also performed at the Pori Jazz 88 in Finland in 1988, in collaboration with the Estonian jazz-rock band Avicenna, which was formed in 1985. This excellent work showcases a style that absorbs jazz, soul, and R&B, presenting a mellow breeze of adult-oriented rock using electric piano and synthesizers. Highly recommended is track A4, which transforms a jazz standard composed by Gershwin into a mellow Balearic R&B style.
