Duo album released in 1978 by American singer Sheila Jordan, who made her debut after being discovered by George Russell, and Arild Andersen, one of Norway's best bassists, who played on many ECM albums. The album features soul singer Billy Preston's songs A1/B5, A2 by Billy Strayhorn, known for being sung by Nat King Cole, Steve Kuhn's score A2/A4, B1 composed by Billy Holiday and other classic songs, Jordan's distinctive, dead-toned voice is complemented by Andersen's sing-songy bass. A5, a deep rendition of a Michel LeGrand composition, is a real draw.
