Broken Fingers
Le Disques du Crepuscule (Belgium) 1982
TWI 068 (LP)
sleeve : EX+(slightly wear on edge, still good.)
media : EX-/EX-(some slightly wear that does not affect to sounds.)
Released in 1982, this solo album by American artist Blaine L. Reininger, one of the main figures of Tuxedomoon, was produced and recorded by himself with Peter Principle, who has also done some excellent work for Crammed Discs' "Made to Measure" series, and Gilles Martin, who has mixed for Crepuscule and Crammed Discs, including Zazou Bikeye and Benjamin Lew. The experimental new wave style is already well established, evoking the cloudy skies of Belgium. B3 is reminiscent of David Bowie's Berlin trilogy, produced by Brian Eno, while B4 is a decadent, decadent electronic wave that finds much in common with Neue Deutsche Welle.
