The album was released in 1984 by Sandii & The Sunsets, a group started by Makoto Kubota and the Yuyake Band with female vocalist Sandii, from Yen Records run by Haruomi Hosono. This is a best-of album featuring excerpts from their first album "Heat Scale", their second album "Immigrants", and Sandii's first solo album "Eating Pleasure", plus two songs not included on the album and live recordings. The tracks range from reggae and Okinawan folk songs sublimated into electronic music that fully reflects the tastes of Makoto Kubota and Haruomi Hosono, who produced and arranged the album, to new wave music that leans towards UK post-punk. I highly recommend A3, which is one of Sandii's best solo albums, and B2, which is only available on this album.
