Blow Up (Germany) 1982
INT 145.504 (LP) w/original inner sleeve.
sleeve : VG+(CC, SOC, wear on edge and corner.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly surface noises, still good condition.)

The first masterpiece album released in 1982 by Za Za, the secretive Neue Deutsche Welle and solo unit of Peter La Bonte, who was a member of the reggae rock band The Nighthawks. It contains a lot of nice electro-wave with reggae and Arabian elements and a witty sense of style. B2 is cosmic electro gem with angular percussion beats, a crazy chorus and a unique saxophone hook, and a deep, sharp-angled, wet synth beat with dark pad sounds and minimalist looping electric piano phrases. A3 has a wonderful worldview similar to Alexander Robotnick's classic "Love Supreme," and B4 is intense with its industrial, dark spiritual vocals and arpeggiated synths that play dissonantly over a very thick synth bass. The analog synth sound is great. Listening to it again now, I can find some similarities with the ideas of Yasuaki Shimizu in the early-mid 80's via Flying Lizards.

A3: Die seltsame Reise
B2: Dschungel Liebe
B4: Vorbel ist Vorbel
