A nice album released in 1985 by American steel pan player Andy Narell, co-produced with renowned percussionist Kenneth Nash, known for his high-quality New Age works. The album features a collection of colorful steel pan fusion tracks filled with a tropical atmosphere. Highlights include A3, with its lightly grooving Brazilian rhythms and the transparent sound of the steel pan, and A4, which contrasts various three-dimensional percussions with primitive Afro chants. Among Andy Narell's works, this album stands out for its particularly high quality. Especially recommended are the urban Balearic feel of A2/B3 and the cool, contemporary vibe of B2.
