An album released in 1978 by American drummer Barry Altschul, who has participated in sessions with many important musicians such as Paul Bley, Chick Corea, Anthony Braxton, and Gato Barbieri since the 1960s. This leader album features prominent figures from the US avant-garde jazz scene, including Arthur Blythe (alto sax), Ray Anderson (trombone), Bill De Arango (guitar), Anthony Davis (piano), Brian Smith (piano), Abdul Wadud (cello), Dave Holland (bass), and Peter Warren (cello), creating a highly imaginative world. The transition from Altschul's drum solo on B1 to the double cello improvisation session by Wadud and Warren on B2 is phenomenal. This is a domestic release that came out the same year as the US edition.
