An album released in 1986 by American guitarist Bill Connors, known for his outstanding work with Paul Bley's Improvising Artists Inc. and ECM. The album features a trio with Tom Kennedy (b), who also performed in Freddie Hubbard's group, and Kim Plainfield (ds), known for his work on Ayuo Takahashi's "Silent Film" and Didier Lookwood's compositions. Departing from the lyrical acoustic sound of his ECM releases in the 1970s, this album showcases a shift towards powerful rhythm sections backing cutting-edge electric guitar, delivering a technical and progressive jazz-rock, crossover/fusion sound throughout. It's a sound unique to that era.
