This album was released in 1975 by Billy Harper, who has played in the jazz orchestras of Gil Evans, in the groups of many great musicians such as Art Blakey, Max Roach, Elvin Jones and Lee Morgan, as well as in the rare grooves of Leon Thomas, Bobbi Humphrey and others. This was his first album for the Italian jazz label Black Saint, which would go on to produce a number of classic albums. Quintet with Virgil Jones (tp), Joe Bonner (p), David Friesen (b) and Malcom Pinson (ds). This is a classic of all great recordings, where you can enjoy Harper's bright color's saxophone over a comfortable groove, but Bonner's shower of piano is also extremely excellent. All tracks are highly recommended.
