This is a duo album released in 1981 by German clarinet/saxophone player Hanns-Wilhelm Gotzke and pianist/composer Hans-Jurgen Niemann. The ensemble beautifully weaves delicate melodies on the piano with gentle tones from the saxophone, creating serene compositions such as the enchanting A4 and the heartwarming B1, evoking a nostalgic feeling as if time is flowing in silence. Crossing between jazz and contemporary music, the album offers a comforting blend of contemporary jazz with a chamber music-like feel.
