Celebration

An album released in 1987 by the duo of Spanish guitarist Eduardo Niebla, who was active in the progressive rock band Atila in the '70s and also participated in Mother Gong's "Fairy Tales," and Italian guitarist Antonio Forcione. This work showcases sophisticated new age guitar music throughout, based on the Andalusian folk music roots of Niebla and featuring technical acoustic guitar performances by both artists. The unique echo-laden sound processing is also pleasant. Highly recommended are tracks A3 and B2, where they use an Ovation acoustic guitar MIDI converter to play melancholic solos with synthesizer-like tones. The jacket appears to be signed by both artists.

A3: Celebration
B2: Nostalgia
