This is the original soundtrack album for the film "Last Tango in Paris" directed by Italian master Bernardo Bertolucci, with music by Argentinean jazz saxophonist Gato Barbieri. This is the Italian version released in 1981 with different artwork from the first release. The title track, which has a memorable melody, was arranged by Oliver Nelson and you can hear four different versions with different atmospheres, and you can enjoy contemporary Latin jazz with adult and moody atmosphere throughout the album. Barbieri's performance is very melancholy. Recommended.
