This was introduced in the guidebook 'OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION.' It's an album released in 1984 by the late Hiroshi Yoshimura, a renowned environmental musician representing Japan who sadly passed away in 2003. This album was created for a campaign by the cosmetics manufacturer Shiseido and was not available for sale. The A-side, titled "FOREST SIDE," features a minimalistic synthesizer melody with very few sounds, overlaid with the chirping of birds, creating a feeling as if you are lying in the shade of a cool forest. It includes three tracks that evoke this atmosphere. The B-side, titled "SEA SIDE," lives up to its name, offering a tranquil sound with the ebb and flow of the sea, seagull calls, and more, making you feel like you are leisurely gazing at the sea by the beach. It also includes three tracks of soothing sounds. The entire album embodies Hiroshi Yoshimura's characteristic quiet ambient music, deeply inspired by the natural environment. It's truly a remarkable content.
Due to being a novelty from a cosmetics manufacturer, many secondhand copies of this album still carry the scent of perfume on the record's surface. As a result, most of them have background noise, but it can be significantly reduced with ultrasonic cleaning. The plastic sleeve is rare in that it doesn't have any cracks, but the color has faded.
