An album released in 1970 featuring compositions by the Korean composer Isang Yun, who studied composition and cello in Japan in the late 1930s and then moved to Europe in the mid-1950s to learn techniques and methodologies of contemporary music. The album includes A1, themed around Luoyang, the capital of Jiangnan Province in China; A2, which follows a structure with the tempo <Slow-Fast-Slow>, a form of Han poetry recitation; B1, themed on Yeak, a traditional Korean court music; and B2, based on graphic notation. These works are remarkable for their originality, blending Asian motifs within Western avant-garde music forms, and evoke a sense of sympathy with Japanese composers like Tōru Takemitsu. The silk screen print artwork by Kōhei Sugiura, who designed all the covers in this series by Trio Records, is also exquisite. The album comes with an obi and a booklet.
