This album was released in 1973 by John Klemmer, an American saxophonist who gained popularity in the 60s and 70s with soul-jazz and jazz-rock, and in the 80s with crossover/fusion. It features Tom Canning (el-p), Todd Cochran (el-p), Dave Padlato (b), James Leary (b), Bart Hall (ds), Woody Theus (ds), and Victor Feldman (per). The album has a very advanced crossover sound for its time, ranging from spiritual jazz rock with Wheather Report-like progressive development to jazz funk influenced by electric Miles Davis and fusion incorporating Latin rhythms. A2, a more mellow feeling of John Coltrane's "Naima," is a pleasant listen. Released in 1980 as a quadraphonic version from the <Platinum Plus> series in the US.
