Mathias Sorof, a German guitarist who collaborated with Dieter Salbert and Alrun Zahoransky as a member of the New Art Ensemble in 1984, released his only solo album in 1987. Utilizing the Chapman Stick and employing the tapping technique—where strings are struck and then pressed with the fingers to create a distinctive staccato sound—he delivers an unknown masterpiece of genreless music with a transparent, high-purity New Age feel throughout. The album also features the celestial and borderless vocals of female singer Libena Karsch on tracks A2 and B. Highly recommended.
A2: Vin ho Dio
B2: Ci flanko
