A self-project by creator Steve Fricker, who runs the UK independent label Cheeses International, which has also released works by Merzbow and Doc Wor Mirran. This is the 1990 limited-edition album from Onomatopeia, released in only 500 copies. The album features immersive outer-space soundscapes, such as A1, where electronic tones drenched in deep delay and echo, along with voices and sampled sound effects, scatter wildly across the sonic field. B1 delivers an intense, trippy experience with distorted single-note guitar lines and scratch sounds, echoing endlessly under deep effects, while noisy electronic elements unpredictably pan across the stereo field. This is an incredible long-form electronic dub drone album, where a multitude of sounds float freely in a purely psychedelic manner. A deeply immersive experience awaits.
