This is a double album supervised by the German composer and musicologist Hans Heinz Stuckenschmidt. Under the title "Introduction to New Music Using Carefully Selected Sound Sources," the album serves as a guide to various compositions while discussing the historical evolution of contemporary music. It covers a wide range of works, from those of the Second Viennese School composers like Arnold Schonberg, Edgard Varese, and Anton Wrbern, to compositions by non-Western composers such as Igor Stravinsky and Bela Bartok, and even includes electronic music pieces by Karlheinz Stockhausen, Luigi Nono, Pierre Boulez, Hans Werner Henze, and Pierre Schaeffer.
