An album released in 1964 by American pianist Morris Nanton, who left behind only two works on Warner Bros. in the late 1950s and three on Prestige in the 1960s. This trio album features bassist Norman Edge, who participated in works by Gene Ammons, and drummer Oliver Jackson, who played with numerous groups, including Yusef Lateef. The album includes a groovy arrangement of the theme song from the film "Lawrence of Arabia" on track A1 and a lively cover of the theme song from "Gone with the Wind" on track A3. This masterpiece showcases various film scores and standard numbers in a soul/blues manner.
A1: The Theme from “Lawrence of Arabia”
A3: Gone with the Wind
