In 1967, Tsuyoshi Yamamoto made his professional debut at the age of 19 and went on to have a successful career both domestically and internationally. In 1974, he released his first leader album from Three Blind Mice. This trio album features Isoo Fukui on bass and Tetsujiro Ohara on drums. The album includes the title track A1, a groovy 12-minute piece, and the beautiful A2, where the piano plays serene yet emotionally expressive melodies. Throughout the album, Yamamoto's signature blues feeling is fully showcased, making it a true masterpiece. This is a reissue released in 1977 under Toshiba EMI's "2500 Cat Series."
