Japanese pianist Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, who made his professional debut in 1967 at the age of 19, released his first album "Midnight Sugar" with Three Blind Mice in 1974 and subsequently enjoyed a successful career both domestically and internationally. His sixth leader album, released in 1975 by Three Blind Mice, features a trio with Akira Daiyu (bass) and Tetsujiro Ohara (drums). The album includes a beautifully emotional arrangement of the theme from the movie "The Way We Were" (A1), the title track (A2) composed by Neal Hefti, an early composer for Count Basie's orchestra, and a cover of the theme from "Gone with the Wind" (A3). The album also features jazz standards and chansons, showcasing the trio's exceptional interplay throughout. This reissue was released in 1982 by Trio Records as part of the "T.B.M. Remember ‘70s Series."
