A very obscure record has just arrived! This is the debut studio album and the only analog release by After Crying, a Hungarian group formed in Budapest in 1986, which continued to produce works into the 2010s. Released in 1990, this album showcases their unique style, blending modern classical music with jazz and symphonic rock. They incorporate classical instruments such as cello, trumpet, trombone, oboe, bassoon, viola, flute, and piano, alongside synthesizers and vocalization, creating a truly distinctive sound. The track A1 is dedicated to Frank Zappa, seemingly hinting at the band's musical direction.
A1: European Things (Hommage a Frank Zappa)
A3: Confess Your Beauty
B1: Madrigal Love Part One
B5: Shining (..to the Powers of Fairyland)
