This is the third album by singer Carmen Maki, who made her stage debut at "Tenjo Sajiki", a group led by Shuji Terayama, and made her debut as a singer in 1969 with "Sometimes Like a Motherless Child" and took the world by storm. The album features lyrics, music, and arrangements by a distinguished lineup including Shuji Terayama, Yu Aku, Kunikouchi, Nobuyasu Okabayashi, Hitoshi Komuro, and Makoto Kawaguchi, and blends elements of 60s American psychedelic folk, jazz, blues, and R&B with a unique Japanese lyrical song taste. The production and Maki's husky, coquettish vocals are a perfect match, and this is a classic Japanese acid folk album along with the previous album "Adam and Eve". It is also valuable to hear "What a Dead Man Left Behind" (B3) by Toru Takemitsu and Shuntaro Tanikawa.
