This is the third album released in 1984 by the Italian cantautore Flavio Giurato, hailing from Rome. Although recognized in the field of Italian pop, the sound he creates takes a rather contemporary approach. While rooted in Italian tradition/folk, the album showcases a sound art piece that incorporates various elements such as rock, new wave, and contemporary music, creating a narrative-rich world. While drawing from Italian traditional and folk music at its core, the album incorporates various elements like primitive percussion ensembles producing high-resonance sounds in tracks like A5. Additionally, it features a pub-rock-like sound with groovy cutting guitars and horns intertwined with percussion-driven wild rhythms reminiscent of David Byrne, highlighted in the cool vocals of track B1. The album is a work of sound art that effectively merges rock, new wave, contemporary music, and other diverse elements, presenting a world brimming with narrative in its expression. The artwork is also splendid.
