Sound Painted Pictures of Cosmic Love
Stuk (Denmark) 1977
STUK 415 (LP)

sleeve : M
media : EX/EX-(some slightly surface noises. side B has some slightly wear and hairlines. disc has slightly curve that does not affect to playback.)

This is the only album released by Gert Thrue, an unknown keyboardist from Denmark, in 1977, and a super obscure one. The album is anomalously composed of keyboards (Hammond organ, Moog synthesizer, electric piano, Fender piano, Roland synthesizer, etc.) and drums, and the A-side is over 18 minutes long, with its own cosmology and spirituality under the influence of German electronics. The B-side features three songs that have elements of early synthesizer music from the likes of Dick Hyman and Walter Carlos, but also exude a '60s American rock flavor. The bluesy sound of B3, reminiscent of Rhoda Scott, is especially good and tasteful. The tone is also very analog. There is still a lot of mysterious music in the world. This is a deadstock, unused item.

There is a thin scuff/very thin scratch on the B side. There is a slight distortion on the disc, but it does not affect the playback.

A1: Sound Painted Pictures Of Cosmic Love
B1: Travelin by Thought
B2: I Play The Body Electronic
