One of the best Japanese rock groove albums by Kimiko Kasai, Japan's leading jazz singers, released in 1972. Produced by Hiroshi Kamayatsu, this was her only attempt at rock music. Top players such as Haruomi Hosono (b), Shigeru Suzuki (g), Hiro Tsunoda (dr), Hiroaki Harada (dr), Katsuo Ohno (org, p), Kunihiko Murai (p) participated in this album. From boogie rock tunes with laid-back rhythms to blues rock and soft rock, the entire album is nothing short of brilliant. Kimiko Kasai's withering vocals are simply superb, and there are not many people who can sing rock and blues songs with Japanese lyrics and keep the groove so well. All songs are highly recommended, and this is the second release from Express.
