A true masterpiece—this is the second album by Luli and Lucina, a female singer-songwriter duo known for their Brazilian acid folk, released in 1982. Between 1978 and 1992, they left behind four albums, with this one standing out as an absolute gem. The album opens with B1, which begins with a primitive percussion beat before seamlessly transitioning into a beautifully soft and atmospheric sound. On B5, the uplifting rhythm of dry-toned percussion pairs exquisitely with bouncing, ethereal vocal harmonies. Their psychedelic folk sound masterfully blends the refreshing clarity reminiscent of Joyce with a deep spiritual essence. Every song is outstanding—an absolute must-listen.
