In the late 1960s, Maki Asakawa was discovered by Shuji Terayama and Koji Teramoto and began performing live at Sasori-za in Shinjuku, Tokyo. This album was released in 1976, and was recorded live at Aketa, a long-established live venue in Nishiogikubo in Tokyo that still exists today, and features up-and-coming young musicians such as Nobuyoshi Hagiwara (ac-g, el-g), Yoshihiro Sugiura (ac-g), Ken Yoshida (b), Ryuichi Sakamoto (og), Jun Tsunoda (el-g), Hiroshi Tsunoda (ds), Shigeharu Mukai (tb), and Toshinori Kondo (tp). (tb) and Toshinori Kondo (tp). This is one of the masterpieces where you can enjoy the world of Asakawa, which encompasses her past works and has become even deeper and more austere.
