Maki Asakawa is a singer and songwriter who started her career in the 1960s in American military camps and cabarets, and was discovered by Shuji Terayama and Koji Teramoto in the late 1960s. This first album was released in 1971 under the direction of Kei Terasawa (the live recording of Scorpioza was composed by Shuji Terayama). In addition to his own compositions, the lyrics were written by Shuji Terayama and Osamu Kitayama, and the music was arranged by Kozaburo Yamaki. The album is full of classic songs including 'Yo ga dawnara', 'Fushiawase toiu nano neko', 'Chichana tokikara' and 'Kamome'. I personally like the versions on this album the best. This is the first reissue in 1972, w.obi and insert.
