A 1981 release by the Italian singer-songwriter Max Meazza, who was a member of the country-rock group Pueblo in the 1970s. While transitioning towards an adult-oriented rock direction in subsequent albums, his debut solo album reflects strongly on his roots in blues and country music. The performances and arrangements are quite refined. Recommended tracks include the laid-back bluesy groove of A1 and the mellow sound of acoustic guitar and electric piano matched with Max's weathered vocals in A3.
A1: The Long Goodbye
A3: Flat in Heaven
