Masterpiece album by Spanish psychedelic folk singer/guitarist Pau Riba, released in 1977. Recorded in Majorca, produced by Daevid Allen of Softmachine/Gong, with glissando guitar, and featuring Balearic guitarists Joan Bibiloni and Xavier Riba, also from Majorca. A2 is a cool, unique fusion of ethnic sounds and Canterbury rock, featuring indigenous percussion and crazy scat, while A3 has an atmosphere reminiscent of David Bowie's 70s work, with trippy synthesiser squiggles and weird chatter. The title track B1 has some comical elements reminiscent of Gong's Radio Gnome series, with its trippy synths and weird chatter, and the album's experimental sounds range from acid rock to tape collage and more. The album is a piece of psychedelic jazz-rock, which I assume was born out of the band's interaction with Daevid Allen, who emigrated to Majorca, Spain, in the mid-1970s.
