This was featured in the first edition of guidebook Obscure Sound. The first album released in 1982 by Terraced Garden, a Canadian obscure rock group that released only three albums on their own label in the 1980s. The band's roots are in blues/folk/country, and their music ranges from narrative progressive rock with influences from King Crimson and Pink Floyd to fast-paced psychedelic rock in the vein of Hawkwind. The Acid Folk A3/B3 with its acoustic sound and beautiful harmonized chorus work, and the A4 reminiscent of Jade Warrior, which transitions from the new age/ambient taste of the first half to the psychedelic roar of the second half, are extremely excellent.
