Wolfgang Dauner, a German pianist who has been active since the 1960s and founded Mood Records in the 1980s, released this album in 1970 under the name of The Wolfgang Dauner Group. This is a reissue released in 1981 on Brain Metronome's "1st Brain Recordings" series, featuring Roland Wittich (ds), Fred Braceful (ds), Siegfried Schwab (g), Eberhard Weber ( b), all members of Et Cetra, have come together here to create a masterpiece of phenomenal jazz-rock in pursuit of a unique psychedelics and groove that fuses soul-jazz and psychedelic rock with elements of folk music. It has something in common with early Kraftwerk of the psychedelic era, and one can feel the depths of the German music scene of that time. Highly recommended.
