The album released from the series "World of Arion Ethnic Music - Complete 15 Volumes," supervised by ethnomusicologist Fumio Koizumi and Tōyō Nakamura, editor-in-chief of Music Magazine with a deep knowledge of world music, licenses the titles of ethnic music from the French label Arion, founded by Ariane Segal in 1967, which has released numerous series ranging from classical to folk music. This album features music of songs and dances from Bali, Indonesia, recorded on-site. It includes performances of dance dramas from the Ramayana, the story of Barong and Kris soldiers, choral dances from Kecak, music from shadow puppetry, and the dances of daughters (Pendet) and Legong, offering a comprehensive experience of the enchanting music of Bali. The recording quality is remarkably high, capturing the full range of sounds from low to high frequencies.
