The three-part suite, which expresses the life of Buddha while being heavily influenced by Indian classical music, is performed. The piece, "Ui-Tenpen," is a work by Makoto Moroi, one of Japan's leading postwar composers, and features a trio of Japanese instruments: koto/30 strings by Shin Miyashita, shakuhachi by Takeyasu Sakai, and tsuzumi/shimedaiko by Roetsu Fujishya.
