This was featured in both editions of the guidebook Obscure Sound. This spectacular work by Estonian ambient/progressive rock composer Sven Grünberg was released in 1988. It comprises four tracks that took six years to complete, from 1981, when he released his first album, to 1987. A monumental sonic experience, the album blends expansive, cosmic synthesizer sounds with a rich array of ethnic instruments that express a deep, native sensibility. The result is an ultra-detailed, vividly colorful soundscape that penetrates deeply into the body—a form of natural body-sonic music. The spiritual worldview conveyed throughout the album is simply extraordinary. Highly recommended.
