A Japanese multi-instrumentalist, Takashi Toyoda, known for his meditative works utilizing a plethora of synthesizers—such as the 1985 release Big Bang featured in the guidebook Obscure Sound—released his debut album in 1980. This work, an eight-part grand suite centered around the theme of Halley's Comet's return in February 1986, features performances predominantly on synthesizer and violin. Toyoda himself handled all aspects of the production, including guitar, bass, chorus, and mixing, creating a pure soundscape of electronic tones and strings that evokes a cosmic ambiance.
