This is an album released in 1974 by Elza Soares, a samba singer who rose to fame with her debut hit released in 1960, growing up in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The album features a blend of samba funk with impressive wah-wah-infused cutting guitars and catchy choruses in track A6, excellent songwriting reminiscent of Jorge Ben and Caetano Veloso in track B1, and elegant strings orchestra accompanied by flute in track B2. Throughout the album, Elza's husky vocals deliver heartfelt black samba melodies. This masterpiece, showcasing Elza's talents, was released domestically in 1979 as part of the "Orya Brazil Series", directed by Tōyō Nakamura.
A6: Partido Le-Le-Le
B1: Deusa Do Rio Niger
