A 1977 release by Atrium Musicae de Madrid, an ancient music ensemble led by Gregorio Paniagua, an ancient musician from Madrid, Spain, and one of the most famous recordings of all time. If the name rings a bell, you're right. He is the father of Luis Paniagua, one of the leading figures of the Spanish contemporary/new age scene who brought Arab and Mediterranean classical music into the contemporary music scene. In Japan, he has been discovered and appreciated by audio enthusiasts such as the late Tetsuo Nagaoka. In this album, Luis Paniagua, Eduardo, Carlos and the Paniagua family including Luis Paniagua, Pablo Cano and Christina Ubeda, who have also participated in Luis' solo works and Babia, take part in a project that focuses on classical music from Andalusia, Spain, influenced by Arabic music.
