The 2nd album released in 1981 by Grupo Engenho, a group of five musicians from the state of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. While there is virtually no information available about the members' individual musical backgrounds, they blend various elements such as pop, rock, and symphonic progressive, while using string instruments like guitar, mandolin, viola, piano, along with percussion and synthesizers. Their music is anchored in Brazilian traditional music, creating an unmistakably Brazilian pastoral and emotional atmosphere, brimming with a naturalistic Brazilian folk-pop vibe. Throughout the album, there's a sense of experimentation as well.
