This is a classic album released in 1986 by the Brazilian composer and singer Nelson Sargento, who is considered the only disciple of the legendary figure in the samba world, Cartola. Nelson Sargento is still active and continues to release new works, even at an age exceeding 90, making him a living legend in his own right. The album was produced by music critic Katsunori Tanaka, the founder of Rice Records, and it was released in Japan through distribution by Bomba Records and in Brazil. It comes with an insert that features additional explanations for the Japanese market. The album features a warm and cheerful atmosphere in the music, with Nelson Sargento's simple yet rich vocals, creating a delightful, soft samba throughout. Track B4, featuring guest vocals by Claudia Savage, is also fantastic. The artwork is exceptional as well.
